About the position

 Location         : Yangon, Myanmar

Contract         : Full-Time


Your responsibilities

  • Assist Director of Strategy and Creative, Art Director and Social Media Manager on strategy and creative concepting: specifically in the translation of the overall concept to a Burmese language name, tagline, post examples other relevant writing

  • Lead development of overall tone of voice for all clients or campaigns, following direction from Director of Strategy and Creative

  • Work alongside Art Director to develop copy and visuals together for key monthly and campaign posts

  • With Director of Creative and Strategy, brief the social media managers on tone of voice and oversee implementation on all social media content

  • Alongside creative and account teams, revise and oversee revisions per client’s feedback

  • Take a collaborative, iterative and thorough approach to the writing process—each new creative brief should be seen as an exciting opportunity to bring a new, inspired and unique writing to life

  • Know the latest trends in creative, advertising and digital and focus on creating consistently great writing for our clients that give them an amazing presence in the digital space

  • Work with the team to continually release content on schedule  

  • Maintain high standards and ensure only the best work is released to the client  

  • Communicate concepts with clear reasoning behind proposed solutions

  • Work in a collaborative, team focused environment   

Your skills

  • 3-5 years of advertising copywriting experience for local and international clients

  • Fluent in Myanmar language, conversational in English

  • You have a passion for everything digital

  • You want to use your skills to support a start-up in a frontier market that has exciting times ahead in the digital landscape
